About Us

Cini Abraham, M.D. is a board certified adult and pediatric psychiatrist. She completed her psychiatry residency from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. Subsequently, she specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. After completion of her training, she worked as a consult liaison psychiatrist at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and served as faculty for UT Southwestern Medical Center. During this time, Dr Abraham enjoyed teaching students in training as well as being involved in clinical research. Dr Abraham specializes in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric care, with a broad spectrum of clinical experience.Dr. Abraham’s areas of interest, include mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders; obsessive compulsive disorders and Eating disorders. Dr Abraham also is an interventional psychiatrist specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) since 2012. She has been a resident of Texas since early childhood and in private practice in Rockwall, Texas since 2007. 

Jaya Mathai, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Jaya has experience in both evaluating and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents and adults.. Some of her areas of interest include mood disorders such as depression and anxiety disorders such PTSD, generalized anxiety, and panic disorders. As a nurse practitioner, Jaya believes that addressing mental health concerns is just as important as addressing physical concerns. She believes in providing holistic care, combining psychotropic medications if needed with individualized patient centered treatment plan with other providers. Patients are encouraged and empowered to participate in their treatment process. Her approach to treatment begins with empathy, respect, kindness and understanding each patient as unique individuals. Prior to becoming a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Jaya has over 20 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse with direct patient care, including cardiac care and inpatient psychiatric treatment units. She has been especially honored working at the Veterans Affair Hospital in Dallas as a registered nurse. 

Anntez Roberson, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a distinguished board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Missouri, solidifying her expertise in the field. Following her doctoral studies, Dr. Roberson commenced her professional journey as a staff nurse practitioner at The Department of Veteran’s Affairs, where she extends her exceptional care to veterans with diverse psychiatric needs. Notably, she specializes in adult psychiatric care, with a particular focus on treating mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety and panic disorders, trauma-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder and acute stress disorder, and substance and addictive disorders encompassing alcohol, tobacco, stimulant, and opioid abuse. Dr. Roberson’s passion for clinical research underscores her commitment to advancing psychiatric care, as she endeavors to assist individuals in achieving their optimal health and well-being. 

Shali George, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN-CNP, MSN, RN-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Northern Kentucky University. She also has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with board certification in both psychiatric mental health and medical-surgical nursing (RN BC). With a nursing career that began in 2003, she brings years of experience as a registered nurse in both medical and psychiatric settings, including UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital before becoming a licensed nurse practitioner in 2021. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she has been providing psychiatric care across inpatient and outpatient settings. She has vast experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. She enjoys working with patients of all ages. Dr. George has served at several respected North Texas facilities and gained experience over the years. Her areas of expertise include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic conditions. She has experience in treatment for substance abuse and dependency especially for alcohol. Passionate about her work, Dr. George is known for her sincere, compassionate approach, and unwavering commitment to her patients. She takes pride in offering empathetic, individualized care and considers it a privilege to support others through their mental health journey.
